Capacity Enhancement of Columns at Henry Park Primary School using the TYFO® Fibrwrap® Composite System

Henry Park Primary School is one of the largest primary school on Holland Grove Road, Singapore. The school began functioning with 287 pupils on 22 March 1977 and officially opened on 7 April 1978. Henry Park has a student population of around 2,200 aged between 7 and 12.
The purpose of the columns strengthening was due to additional loading and expansion of the new floor area. The columns, consisting of circular and rectangular shapes were proposed to be strengthened using Tyfo® SEH-51A.
The project was completed on July 2012.
